Chiavalon is the family farm behind a line of extra virgin oils, from the Istra and Ex Albis blends to Romano, Atilio and Mlado, pressed from Buža, Istrian Bjel…Chiavalon is the family farm behind a line of extra virgin oils, from the Istra and Ex Albis blends to Romano, Atilio and Mlado, pressed from Buža, Istrian Bjelica, Crnica, Moražola and Rožinjola olives. The farm holds organic certification, makes the Olive Theory skincare line and also grows tomatoes, artichokes and grains.

Visits range from a grove walk with a tasting at the mill to a two-hour Grand Tasting of four oils with food pairings, and a tapas-and-wine session led by sommelier Karin Rupena Perdec.
