Premantura is a village in the Medulin municipality on the southernmost tip of the Istrian peninsula, just south of Pula, and the way in to Cape Kamenjak. Istri…Premantura is a village in the Medulin municipality on the southernmost tip of the Istrian peninsula, just south of Pula, and the way in to Cape Kamenjak. Istria County protected the land here in 1996 as two significant landscapes: Upper Kamenjak north of the village, and Lower Kamenjak and the Medulin Archipelago to the south. A public institution based in Premantura has managed them since 2004.
The Kamenjak peninsula has some 30 kilometres of coastline broken into coves and beaches.
