Around Pula

From the Arena and the old town out to Verudela and Stoja, south to Medulin and Kamenjak, and north to Fažana and Vodnjan.

Pula sits at the southern tip of Istria, round a large natural harbour, and each part of it serves a visitor differently. The Old Town holds the Roman monuments, the Arena, the Forum and the Arch of the Sergii, with the Kaštel on the hill between them; Verudela to the south is the resort peninsula, with hotels and rocky coves under the pines; Stoja to the west is a city bathing area with a campsite; Banjole, Medulin and Premantura run south east towards Cape Kamenjak, the protected tip of the peninsula; and Fažana, where the Brijuni boats leave, and inland Vodnjan lie to the north.
