Pula Boat tours

Brijuni sets the course for most trips. Motorboats from the harbour on the Riva and smaller boats from the Fažana waterfront run panoramas of the national park islands, swimming stops on Sv. Jerolim and sunset dolphin cruises, usually with drinks and often with dinner on board, though no operator promises that dolphins will appear. Sunset cruises from Pula harbour can return past the Arena and the lit cranes of the Uljanik shipyard, and from Bunarina near Verudela, glass-bottom trips head the other way, past Fratarski island and south towards Cape Kamenjak.

The boats vary more than the routes. The largest carry over a hundred passengers on two decks with a bar and kitchen, family boats take a few dozen, and the snorkelling trips from Marina Polesana stop at twelve and need five to sail. Payment runs from bank transfer ahead to cash settled on board, trips called off for weather are rescheduled or refunded, and pets are welcome on some boats and turned away on others.
